You know what makes me sad about the ST Book? Well first off, it is STe based, something I wish the STacy had been developed as.
The sad part is, unlike the STacy, which has a mono screen but external color output, the ST Book has no color output at all. Which means...something super cool like the RGB2HDMI mod will not work with it...

One recently In The $700’s I similar condition loose. A boxed one also went for around $400. Slalom and Missile attack are the “holy grails” of the Mattel handhelds….
** but at least missile attack has a story. It was pulled off the shelves early because parents were complaining that the theme was bombing New York City and the whole No Nukes thing was all the range at the time in the 70’s…
They pulled it off the shelves, changed the New York City artwork and renamed it Battle Star Galactica 😆

Haha I saw that. I dunno man. I think that’s a bit too pricey. Although a friend gave me a Mac Lisa mouse and I see those are going for up to $1,000…. I wonder if once all us old timers die off the value will drop to zero 😂

Ooops I just posted a link to the eBay before I saw this….
This is a really rare Atari ST machine. Something like a 1000 were made. They're nice, but I've seen a lot of comments about how brittle the plastic gets over the years. The pictures seem to indicate that's true.
Still, for an Atari collector, this is one of the "Holy Grails" in the ST line. 🙂
PS The bidding is already over $2000.00!
