So might as well go bigger on the KVM style case to include USB, Rverter, Wimodem (LCD screen and LED indicators), 5v PSU, SD Drive, and make this an all in one accessory for the A8…. Thoughts?
If you can disconnect a device I'd like this. I think a better design would be to have all the ports on one side, including the inbound port. Switches on the front next to each port. Sort of like a KVM. It it splits out in all 4 directions, it will take a lot of desk real estate.
Yes, my way! :P Except, I would have just the switch on the front, and the SIO ports on the back so the cables/etc can shoot out the back and not be in the way. UI stuff in front, mechs in the back. :D
Boards arrived… Yeah I ordered 50 PCB total and they sent me 1000
Revised Design - The Width is as wide as I can go without making this ridiculous...
FYI - This can be used front facing or rear facing given your set up. Screen will be made to flip. For my set up, I need the ports front facing...

Thank you wade. I would love to have switches on what sio ports get passed to the computer. This is for my percom dilemmas.
