Hey everyone, I've read the manual and searched the internet a bunch of times so this is either not possible, or I just keep missing it. Each time I power off and on my ST and Wimodem232, it boots up and always defaults to a 300 baud rate. Then, in the terminal program I need to type "AT*B9600" to set the Wimodem to 9600, and then set the terminal program to 9600 as well.
Question: Is there a way to save the baud rate of 9600 directly in the Wimodem so I don't need to keep typing AT*B9600 each time I power on everything?
Thanks
Hey Jason. I always use "at&w" with my WiModem232's to save the settings. This catches all the settings at once, including the baud rate.
You can use "at&v" to show your settings, before saving to make sure you've got everything the way you want it first.
PS and don't forget to take advantage of the phonebook with the WiModem232.
It's absolutely dead handy once you get your fav BBS's there. Too bad it only holds 10 entries - maybe Jim Drew will update that some day.
PSS Oh! DarkForce should be the first entry in the phonebook, of course. :) :) :)
